How to Actually Use Siri

There are a lot of actually useful things you can do with Siri. In our video, we highlight our favorites.

To text a group of people, just tell Siri, “Send a text to Tom, Steve, and Jane saying Hey Guys, what time are we meeting for lunch?”

The same trick works for email.

One of the more hidden tricks is teaching Siri how to pronounce names correctly. For this fix, ask Siri to text someone, when when she mispronounces the name, simply say, “That’s not how you pronounce Nguyen.” Then Siri will ask for clarification by giving several different pronunciation buttons. After listening to each, select the closest option. Voila!

And I think the actual most useful Siri command is the simple, “Wake me up at 6:30” to set an alarm. Using this method, Siri always seems to get AM and PM correct, which is more than I can say for myself.
